Let’s get moving! Phantom Lake Elementary PTA is having a Move-A-Thon fundraising event on Friday, May 17, 2024 during lunch recess (K-2: 12:25-12:50 and 3-5: 12:00-12:25) and after school from 3:10-5:00!
 
The Move-A-Thon fundraiser gives students the opportunity to have fun moving, walking, jogging, or running laps around the school turf field during recess and after school from 3:10-5:00. Each student raises money by collecting donations from friends and family members.

Students should wear their grade color and comfortable shoes.

Kindergarten:
Red

1st Grade:
Orange

2nd Grade:
Yellow

3rd Grade:
Green

4th Grade:
Blue

5th Grade:
Indigo

 

Each student MUST have permission to participate in the Move-A-Thon during lunch recess and/or after school. Please Fill out one permission slip per student here: https://forms.gle/aDySSKA8kfxvmMVd7.

Permission slips are due May 15, 2024.

99 Pledges will be used as the fundraising platform for the Move-A-Thon (https://99pledges.com/how-it-works/). Each student will have a personal Move-A-Thon page. An email from 99 Pledges will be sent out to the parent or guardian to access their child’s personal page. Simply share the link with friends and family to make a donation. If you have trouble accessing your child’s personal Move-A-Thon page please email phantomlakepta@gmail.com


PRIZES

All students will receive a frozen treat during lunch recess for their participation in the Move-A-Thon.
 
Move-A-Thon individual student laps:
Students will receive a prize for every 10 laps completed. Capped at 60 laps (6 prizes).
Various prizes to choose from: squishes, fidget toys, stickers, bubbles, pencils, play-doh, snacks, etc.
 
Students can pick up their prizes after school at the Move-A-Thon or the following Monday if they cannot attend the after school event.

Goal: $1,000

VOLUNTEERING

AFTER SCHOOL TAILGATE PARTY

Students are invited to stay after school and continue the Move-A-Thon. A parent or guardian must complete a permission slip by Wednesday, May 15 for each student attending after school. 
 
The PTA is not responsible for any child unattended after school. A parent, guardian or chaperone must be present.

WHO WATCHES MY CHILD AFTER SCHOOL?
A parent, guardian, or designated chaperone is responsible for the supervision of their child at the move-a-thon after school hours beginning at 3:10pm.

WHAT IF IT RAINS ON THE DAY OF THE MOVE-A-THON
The move-a-thon will not be cancelled if it is raining. Please send your students to school with appropriate clothing and shoes – including rain gear.

DO THE KIDS GET REFRESHMENTS?
Water will be provided to all students during the move-a-thon. All students will receive a frozen treat during the move-a-thon at lunch recess.

ARE PETS ALLOWED?
No
